Devils Creek brand comes from the name of the creek which runs through the Michelini Vineyard in High Country Victoria. The creek itself has a long history dating back to the 1800’s, where the Buckland Valley was home to thousands of gold miners hoping to strike it rich. The creek was a vital water supply to many of the gold miners in the area and was famous for disappearing underground for extended periods, haunting the locals and only returning in plentiful rains. The locals likened this to the Devil himself, and hence the name.
