STORY
The life of the party the instigator of frivolity the undying entertainer. A modern-day jester gathers friends around regularly to eat and drink well and much like their medieval predecessors reminds us that life shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

TASTING NOTE
Fruitful and expressive on the nose with pear stone fruit and citrus. The palate is soft and lush textured yet crisp. The pear peach and lemon notes carry from the nose meeting with green apple and a fresh balanced acidity which lingers on the finish.

WINEMAKING
Harvested in the cool of the night. Destemmed crushed and pressed to stainless steel tank with minimal skin contact time. Cold settled for five days before racking and inoculation. Fermented at a cool 12ºC over two weeks with no malolactic fermentation. After ferment the wine was heat and cold stabilised and sterile filtered for bottling.

VINEYARD
Mundulla Vineyard Limestone Coast
The site is characterised by red sands over limestone and the region is known for providing a long ripening period allowing subtle flavour development and finesse in the wines.
