Matured in French oak hogsheads. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of black cherries and liquorice mix with toasty oak earth and peppered fennel notes. The mid weighted palate features black plum and liquorice flavours over toasty vanillin cedar and peppered dried herb elements. Fine grained tannins with a fleshy mid length conclusion.
