A powerful and dark-fruited Cabernet from the organic single vineyard of a great Hawkes Bay producer, Paritua. This exceptional wine is sourced from the estates home vineyard', where dry farmed vines (not irrigated for 10 years) are grown according to a super-premium regime that produces a very light, highly concentrated crop of only one bunch per cane. The result is a Cabernet of piercing dark red fruits and spicy complexities suffused with fine, ripe tannins. A serious food wine now, the Paritua will age for a good many years to come.
