
Sassara Veneto Bianco IGT ‘Vin da Cagnara’ 1L 2024
Vin da Cagnara Bianco is a sippable orange wine made from the Venetian grape variety Garganega. Fermentation started with pied de cuve – a spontaneous fermentation – and was followed by twenty days of skin maceration in small tanks without temperature control. After pressing, the wine rested for five months in steel tanks. The bottling was done without fining or filtering, and completely without additives.
The skin contact gives the wine slightly floral notes along with aromas of ale hops, melon and stone fruit. Light tannins make it an excellent all-round wine that goes well with everything from hummus and grilled vegetables to pasta with mushrooms and pancetta – and it also keeps well even after the bottle has been opened.
